I’m a wife, a mom of three, and a dental hygienist by trade. My journey with grief started when I lost my brother at 11 years old, but at that age, I didn’t know how to process such a deep loss. No one around me talked about it—grief was something we just swept under the rug. I followed suit, and years later, it caught up with me. It affected my relationships, clouded my ability to focus, and led me down a path of unhealthy coping mechanisms, including more alcohol than I’d like to admit.
When I lost my first son, I knew I couldn’t keep running from the pain. I had to find a way to heal and make peace with my grief. Through my own journey, I realized that grief and joy can coexist, and that’s when I knew I wanted to help others navigate their grief, too.
That’s why I became a grief coach and created the Growing Through Grief guided journal and 1:1 coaching program. My approach is holistic, focusing on healing both mind and body, and it’s designed to help you process your grief, find peace, and allow space for joy to return. You don’t have to walk this path alone—we can grow through grief together.
